What is Kombucha?

Kombucha is a fermented tea that is naturally effervescent.  It is made by fermenting sweet tea, with a kombucha culture called a SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast).  Fizzy, bright and noted for it’s helpful probiotics, kombucha is a tasty, refreshing and uplifting beverage.    

What are these floaty things in my kombucha?

The matter floating at the bottom of the kombucha is actually a byproduct of the fermentation process, mostly yeast. It is an indication that this delicious beverage is indeed raw and alive. It is completely safe to ingest and is remarkably tasteless and uneventful.

Is Crested Bucha Non-Alcoholic?

Our kombucha is classified as a non-alcoholic beverage.  However, trace amounts of alcohol (less than 0.5% ABV) are produced during fermentation.

What are the health benefits of kombucha?

Fermented drinks like Crested Bucha are high in Vitamin B and good bacteria - which help contribute to digestive health.  Kombucha also helps keep your body in balance and increases your energy levels.  Crested Bucha is a healthy and delicious beverage which makes you feel good!

Is Crested Bucha sustainable?
